You can in theory use any values you want but seeing there's no Exclusive Fullscreen support you need to have your system/desktop set to the resolution you want otherwise the window will be bigger than your screen. The game is limited to the aspect ratio 16:9, so values that doesn't fit that criteria will result in either a squashed or stretched image. If all goes well you should be cooking on gas. Go back to the game which has hopefully changed in size and set Display to Full Screen.Alter the y and x axis values in the address list at the bottom to what you want,.Ctrl+o in Cheat Engine and open the table I've set,.Set your desktop resolution to the one you want to render to (I didn't need to do that, rendering 4k while windows is set to 1440p).Right then the instructions are as follows. Then you'll need this cheat engine table here:.Cheat Engine which you can grab from here:.Bear in mind this has had no most testing than a couple of minutes and I watched the opening cutscenes and did the tutorials to see if any weird behaviour happened but everything worked so far but expect things might not be right at some point. I've tested this briefly on a couple of PCs and asked 2 others to test it and it's worked for them too so this should be pretty much straight forward. I've warned you, not my fault if something happens.Īnywho resolution values via CheatEngine. Don't click through the install process, read it and make sure when prompted you select Custom Install just to be on the safe side it isn't installing anything you don't want. Also be careful where you download CheatEngine from if you don't have it installed already as every version I know of now has adware in the installer. So I think 4k might be the max for graphical enhancement changes.įirst things first I accept no responsibility if something goes wrong with your system or Valve/Square Enix come after you for using CheatEngine.Ĭhances are slim to none but just throwing this out there. I have also tried all the way to 8k resolution and it looks the same as 4k. Now you can add any resolution you want to in the Cheat Engine file provided. In order to fix this put the scaling on normal or advance to fix the problem. *edit 5* More of a clarification by fade2black001 down below:įor one DO NOT select no scaling as it will make the image appear bigger/zoomed in if it's above your current desktop resolution. *edit 4* Before you can change the value you need to click "Select a process to open" and then select "LRFF13.exe" and open it *edit 3* When you've loaded the template and the game, the two boxes down below should show your current resolution set in the game, just double click on the values and enter the ones you want. *edit 2* Here's the link to the original thread: *edit* It works great for me at 4k, it even pushes my 980 Ti out of idle mode, which is nice. I created this purely to help people on steams forums since not everyone visits neogaf regularly. I'm not the original creator of this guide, it was made by Dr Dogg on Neogaf, I'll paste the link to the thread below.
